BOAT TOUR departs from: Chincoteague Island, Virginia
- Arrive on Chincoteague Island then Turn right at light on Main St. heading South.
- Proceed to the very end of South Main St. (approx. 8 minutes).
- Turn left when you see the sign at the end of Main Street for Curtis Merritt Harbor then park on the left side of harbor all the way at end of harbor. Look for the sign, Assateague Explorer, dock #3. Free parking & restroom.
KAYAK TOUR meets at: Atlantic Shores Inn Hotel, Chincoteague Island, Virginia
- As soon as you arrive onto Chincoteague Island over the bridge: Go straight 1/4 mile and you'll see the hotel on left. Park behind the lobby and meet Assateague Explorer kayak guide in front of the lobby.
- Sometimes we will call or text and tell visitors to go straight to the dock where we launch our kayaks, so keep your phone turned on.
